Frequently Asked Questions

What are the types of wall hung boilers?

Wall hung boilers are divided into two according to their waste gas discharge system.

Chimney type wall hung boilers,

Hermetic type wall hung boilers.

However, use of chimney type wall hung boilers has become considerably rare recently, and Hermetic wall hung boilers are commonly being used. Hermetic wall hung boilers are suggested for being safer and more efficient.

Besides, wall hung boilers are divided into two according to their method of heating.

Classical (conventional) wall hung boilers.

Condensing wall hung boilers.

Condensing wall hung boilers are more efficient in comparison to classical wall hung boilers. Environment friendly wall hung boilers thanks to high efficiency values (up to 109%) with less consumption and less waste gas emission, provide comfort heating for the users also with advanced adjustment properties.

What are the advantages of using wall hung boilers?

Wall hung boiler systems provide independent heating comfort. Users are provided with desired amount of heat within desired period of time. Wall hung boilers provide opportunity for individual savings and enable you to pay as much as you use, unlike centrals systems. Besides, with wall hung boilers also used in heating service water, you do not need to use another device (gas water heater, electrical storage water heater, boiler etc.) for hot water.

What is the difference between Hermetic/Chimney type wall hung boilers?

Chimney type wall hung boilers receive the required air for burning from the environment where it is assembled, whereas hermetic models receive it directly from the external environment thanks to the special waste gas pipe configuration. For this reason, there are some limiting ventilation conditions regarding the environments where chimney type wall hung boilers will be assembled, and all related information is provided in our assembly and user’s manuals in detail.

What is the difference between Classical (Conventional) / Condensing wall hung boilers?

Condensing Wall Hung Boilers and classical (conventional) wall hung boilers indicate similarities in terms of operating principle. The difference of condensing wall hung boilers in comparison to classical wall hung boilers is that the temperature of the waste gas disposed in the atmosphere can be used also for heating. Water vapor disposed in the atmosphere in gas state is condensed via condensing and condensation technology and transformed into liquid state. In the meantime, heat released by the transformation of water vapor from gas state to liquid state becomes usable for heating.

Is it safe to be heated by wall hung boiler?

Any kind of measure and set up determined by TSE (Turkish Standards Institution) are provided with wall hung boilers against flame out, gas leakage, excessive heat and cold, chimney blowback, and chimney dysfunction. Wall hung boilers are considerably safe devices thanks to these properties.

Who performs the first operation of the wall hung boiler, can I operate it?

First operation is performed free of charge by DemirDöküm Authorized Services. Start-up by other people than Authorized Services is prohibited. In such cases, the devices are excluded from the scope of warranty.
