Sector’s Special Award

DemirDöküm was granted Sector’s Special Award at ISK-SODEX 2000 Fair

DemirDöküm regularly attends ISK-SODEX 2000 Fair, which is organized biannually by İstanbul Yeşilköy Dünya Fuarcılık and was held between 20-23 April 2000 this year. At the fair, opened by our Minister of Labor and Social Security Yaşar Okuyan this year, DemirDöküm took its place as the unchallenged leader and pioneer of the sector as usual.

DemirDöküm was granted ‘Fair’s Special Award’, organized traditionally by the fair administration and the first of which was given this year, ‘for the contributions it has made to Heating and Cooling Sector for a half century’. The award was given to DemirDöküm General Manager Melih Batılı by IKV Chair Meral Gezgin Eriş.

The second award given by DOSİDER, one of the voluntary organizations supporting the fair, was also taken by DemirDöküm General Manager Melih Batılı.

DemirDöküm, attending the fair with a magnificent, giant stand of 450 m2 size this year, gained the appreciation of all local and foreign visitors with the broadest product range in both heating and cooling sectors, particularly for producing most of these products at its own plants and the power provided by the high amount of export it makes to the developed countries of the World. It attracted great attention with the new Millenium wall hung boiler presented at the fair, 30.000 kcal/h capacity new hermetic Isofast wall hung boiler not owned by the rival companies, new electrical storage water heater with digital remote control, 2000 model Plasma filtered Split Air Conditioners with air cleaning feature, panel radiator with the highest efficiency and dyed with cataphoresis dying technology, the only domestic production Cast Iron boiler of Turkey with Jetstream low temperature technology, new design chimney and hermetic gas water heaters, cast iron floor standings, and towel rails.
