Industrial Design Award

DemirDöküm was granted the Industrial Design Award. The Department of Industrial Design, has been carrying out its activities at DemirDöküm Headquarters since 1989, works simultaneously with the other departments and carries out its new product design activities. Designer's Odyssey'98 competition was organized at Tüyap/Beylikdüzü Fair Center between 11-14 November 1998 by ETMK (Industrial Designers Professional Organization) in cooperation with Tüyap fair center. At the end of the selection of the International Jury comprised of 8 people, DemirDöküm gas water heater was granted the brass ring of Industrial Design. At the exhibition held within the scope of ETMK’98 International Design Meetings, more than fifty design offices took place in addition to big companies such as DemirDöküm, Arçelik, Beko, and Vestel. There were more than two hundred products at the exhibition. At the organization, where the best designs of 1998 were voted, the results were announced at ETMK'98 Design Awards Ceremony held at Tüyap congress center on 11 November 1998 at 19:30. DemirDöküm’s Department of Industrial Design was granted the brass ring at the ceremony. We are proud of being awarded with the brass ring among many challenging companies.
